Doster Construction Company recently completed construction on Tapestry at Brentwood Town Center, a Mixed-Use Development located in Brentwood, Tennessee. This project adds to the list of other Doster projects in the Nashville area – HealthSouth Franklin Rehab, Fountains at Germantown Apartments, and Bellevue. The Tapestry ant Brentwood project consists of two four-story wood frame buildings with a total of 393 units and retail space. The exterior features a combination of brick, stone, stucco and fiber-cement siding. The development includes the following amenities: two courtyards with a pool, a zen garden space with four outdoor kitchens, a sports lounge with kitchen and billiard table, a large clubhouse with terrace deck, a conference room, fifteen different unit types exhibiting top-end finishes and granite countertops, a leasing office area, retail space, and a “fitness bridge” fitness area that features a yoga room and gym with workout equipment. The “Fitness Bridge” spans the two buildings and the paved entrance to the property that accesses the two parking decks wrapped by each building. The retail space at Tapestry is soon to be filled with a restaurant, and the areas surrounding Tapestry include Brentwood Place Shopping Center which people can walk to places including Nordstrom Rack and Kroger, in addition to a barber shop and over ten restaurants. Nearby developments have recently boomed into CityPark Brentwood, a pedestrian community with restaurants, boutiques, a Hilton Hotel, and eight office buildings. The space was constructed by Birmingham-based Doster Construction Company. Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company is the project’s owner, and Bristol Development is the developer with Fugleberg Koch Architects as the architect.
