Doster completed a 2,000 square foot renovation of the existing UAB pharmacy and waiting area on the 2nd floor of the The Kirklin Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama. The project included HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection, new finishes as well as new dispensing windows and casework.
The work area was within a fully functioning hospital pharmacy area, which required substantial infection control and risk assessment procedures for operations to continue as normal. The two phases were completed successfully with zero complete shutdowns of the pharmacy.
The certificate of completion was issued by the City of Birmingham on November 18, 2019.
