On Friday April 30, 2021 city officials, teams from Doster Construction Company, the State of Tennessee Real Estate Asset Management (STREAM), Goodwyn Mills and Cawood, among others gathered to celebrate the Topping Out of the new Paris Landing State Park project in Buchanan, Tennessee.
After demolition of the original building, the project includes a new 100,000-square-foot hotel comprised of 91 guest rooms, conference and meeting space, a restaurant, and a pool.
After remarks from Christi Branscom, John Hull, and Jim Bryson with the state of Tennessee and Weston Burt of Doster Construction Company, team members from Doster installed the final beam along with a customary evergreen tree which symbolizes a safe job and luck to future occupants.
The new Lodge at Paris Landing State Park is expected to open to guest in 2022.
