A vacant one-acre lot of Alabama red clay on Corporate Drive in the MidCity District is set to transform over the next year into a modern, 25,000-square-foot headquarters for TARCOG. The $8 million project will provide a state-of-the-art space to support TARCOG’s mission of serving member governments across its five-county region and 48 municipalities.
“We are very excited to have reached this point,” said Executive Director Michelle Gilliam Jordan. “It’s taken nearly two years of thoughtful planning, but we believe the building plan is perfect for our needs now and into the future.”
To mark the beginning of this exciting project, a groundbreaking ceremony was held on Friday, February 7. Doster is proud to partner with TARCOG on bringing this vision to life and contributing to the continued growth of the Huntsville community.
