WHAT WE DO
Our company has faithfully served clients and building owners for five decades, and in that time, we have come to understand the expectations of Owners for well-built facilities with a high level of professional service.
It is with this same commitment to providing comprehensive and industry-leading service that Doster consistently builds on our legacy of quality work. Project after project, we build on our reputations of delivering projects with integrity, fairness, and excellence.
We maintain a culture that places high value on critical thinking, open communication, and a willingness to invest early in good planning. Our process is to continually look ahead to see the big picture and evaluate the path of our progress.
DELIVERY METHODS
Preconstruction
Our people differentiate us and bring the talent, skills, abilities, knowledge, and motivation to provide our clients with a predictable and reliable outcome, starting with early conceptual estimating and continuing through closeout and post-occupancy warranty management.
Preconstruction is much more than a back-of-house department or front-end activity that has a distinct time frame or set of activities. Rather, it is an inclusive, iterative and collaborative approach to establishing the foundation on which the entire team will successfully execute the project.
We have a fully staffed, experienced, all-inclusive department, trained, and dedicated team to work closely with the client and design team to understand their business needs and intent driving the project. We understand we are stewards of the client’s budget, and work to maximize the value received.

Lean Construction
Lean construction techniques strive to eliminate all possible waste, which involves planning jobs down to the smallest detail, from where a dumpster will be situated to ensure the fewest steps for workers throwing material away to ensuring just-in-time delivery of materials. At Doster, there is much thought and planning put at the start of a project, and that helps save us money that we can pass on to the Owner. On many large-scale projects, hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings can be found through lean techniques alone.
Green Building
The construction of a new building is history in the making. It changes the landscape for years to come; it can impact the job market; and—for better or worse—it undoubtedly affects the environment. Doster wants to help our clients make history by building projects for the better of the environment. Buildings that lower energy costs, overall operating costs, and total lifecycle costs. We do this by building green.
Doster’s environmental management system allows us to identify and control the environmental impact of all Doster projects; continuously improve our environmental performance; and implement and adhere to a systematic approach toward setting environmental objectives and targets.
When implemented correctly and used holistically, sustainable design and construction results in buildings that increase occupant productivity and improve health while lowering the overall life cycle costs, and sometimes even first costs.
